PB Bars
Ingredients
  • 1 bag chocolate chips (I use Enjoy Life)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 cup peanut or other nut butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ½ scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • *Sea salt
HOW 
to
  • In a bowl, combine the peanut butter and maple syrup and mix well. Add in the almond flour & protein powder and stir until smooth and well combined.
  • Set aside. In a small pot, dump the bag of chocolate chips and coconut oil and stir over low heat until melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat. Evenly distribute the peanut butter mixture into the parchment-lined pan and smooth out until flat.
  • Pour melted chocolate evenly over top.
  • Shake a little sea salt across the top.
  • Place in the freezer for at least 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove and cut and then store in the freezer for best consistency.
